After seeing the Wireless Giant BlackBerry Store leaked roadmap, I'd like to know why Sprint's Bold 9930 is $249.99 on an upgrade/renew and Verizon's is the standerd $199.99? Is it possible that Sprint will include a Sandisk MicroSDHC 8GB card with thier device? If not Sprint has some explaining has to thier reason to charge $50.00 more for the same device. Anyone have any thoughts?

I wonder if mobile hotspot or premium accessories would have anything to do with that?

I thought Tmobile and Sprint were notorious about mail in rebates for phones? I would not go through their store to get the device. I would wait to see if Sam's Club, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or Radio Shack gets them. At least you can avoid mail in rebates and what not.

no, mobile hotspot and accessories have nothing to do with the price.

that is just what they feel like charging for the phone but its very likely they will have a $50 mail in rebate.

No rebate, Sprint only places rebates on phone $150 and under.

This isn't at the Sprint Store...this price is shown on the leaked Wireless Giant roadmap $249.99...and usually prices for Sprint devices are normally the same everywhere (maybe $20.00 cheaper, but that's it)

That would be nice, I just bought a 16gb card just in case Sprint only included a 4gb, but I got it for a nice price so i figured it cant hurt to have extra media cards on hand!

Nobody knows for a fact that is will be $249, there was a leaked sheet that listed all the main carriers in the US besides TMo that showed release dates and pricing, but it was nothing official.

If you look at the Wireless Giant BlackBerry Store leaked roadmap, it shows MSRP* (manufacturer's suggested retail price) at $249.99 for the Bold 9930, which is odd, since the MSRP* for the Torch 9850 is only $149.99 and for Verizon, the MSRP is $199.99 for the Torch 9850? Again, would it mean an inclusion of a microSDHC card?

I would find it odd that one store, like Wireless Giant (BlackBerry Store) sell the Sprint BB Bold 9930 for $50.00 more if you could easily get it at a Sprint store, Walmart, Best Buy, etc..for $199.99 (if that is going be there price)

Fixed a spelling error in your post when I quoted it.

Every store does that. I can get a bag of Meow Mix cat food at Wal-Mart for $10.98 but at the market a few miles from my house, that same bag is $14 and some change. People go where it's convenient. My closest Wal-Mart is half an hour away so sometimes, it's easier to pay the almost $15 at the market than drive half an hour to save a few dollars.

Same thing with the online retailer. My closest Best Buy is 60+ miles from me. Spending that much in gas plus having to deal with Memphis traffic? No thank you. I'll gladly pay the extra and buy it online.

And currently, Sprint is still extending thier Instant rebate program...no mail in rebates (so far needed)

Be glad you are not with T-Mobile, there pricing is (allegedly) $349 before rebate, $299 after rebate. Most expensive phone in their lineup. They apparently really want to sell as few of these as possible!

The $249.99 was shown on the Wireless Giant BB Store leaked roadmap, I always found that places such as Walmart, Best Buy, Radio Shack, even online phone carriers would give a small discount $20, at best. Did anyone find any prices other than $249.99 for Sprint BB Bold 9930?
