Hi Guys,

Just wondering if it is possible to restore video files that I accidentally deleted when I security wiped my playbook? I honestly thought I had backed them up .

Have tried using a couple of restore programs, but the playbook doesn't register as drive on any of them. Probably because it is treated as a network drive.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Well, I will be very concern if you can somehow recover data after a security wipe!

Are you trying to recover personal video or the demo video that comes with the unit? I think you can at least only get the demo back. Good luck.

Delete 'security wipe' is like ... forever
Un-delete is like ... for never

I guess that is the whole point of a security wipe isn't it... Oh well.. Just cant believe i didn't do a back up. Lesson learned. Will download the demo video, at least I can get that back.

Was it a video you recorded with the PB?

Yes it was. Went on a safari, and got some awesome videos. At least I backed up the pictures. C'est la vie..
