I have been searching about how to receive files via bluetooth to Blackberry device, but couldn't find any solution yet. Most of the solution provided is how to send and receive between Blackberry device but not other device.

I am using OS 6 and I able to send and receive through PC via bluetooth, but when I tried to send from my other phone which is Samsung Omnia II running on Windows Mobile 6.5 and it always failed. Anybody know what is the solution?

Thanks a lot in advance for the help.

Are you initiating the transfer FROM your BlackBerry?

    What type of file?

I am trying to send pictures from my Omnia II to my Bold 9780. When my Omnia detect the Blackberry, then I press Send, but it kept failed and failed. When I tried from my PC, it successfully worked.

    One more time.

Are you INITIATING the transfer FROM the BlackBerry? You must do this.

Open a Media application (such as Music or Pictures).
    Press the Menu button.
    Select "Receive Using Bluetooth".
Then send the file from the other device.

Yeap, I tried your method. And if I'm not mistaken that method is for OS 5 and I'm running OS 6, so when I Open the Media Application and press the Menu button, there is no "Receive Using Bluetooth" option.

And on the Blackberry KB article, they just mention on how to do it between Blackberry devices, but not other devices.
