Just curious what your next phone will be.
The iPhone and android look pretty neat, but I mainly use mine for email and phone, so I might get another BB.
I have an iPad that I love, so probably sticking with BB for a phone and having my iPad with me gives me the best of both worlds.
Don't know whether to try a 9900 or wait and see what the qnx phone will be.

Man, if that ain't the million dollar question. I'm up at the end of the year, and it's a total toss-up. I am waiting to see what the 9900 and Torch 2 bring, as these will be 7th-gen devices. I have no interest in the v1 QNX, that will need a few versions to get good. But the OS7 handsets are going to have to compete strongly, and though I love my 9700, the screen is feeling way small of late.

For me, since i'm not concerned with cutting edge stuff, i'll likely have a 9780, if they don't have that in stock, it'll be the 9900. EDIT: or the 9300.

Well I was gonna opt for a new BB but since upgrading to O.S 6 I have had nothing but hassle since it has turned a perfectly good phone into a waste of space! Browser slown down, page to large msg all the time and loss of app space I'm seriously considering an andriod phone! I would re-install O.S 5 if somebody knows how to then let me know. I did see a thread on how to force an error which enables a completely clean re-install but can no longer find it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I can update now, but I'm going to wait for the full term to be up in Nov.. By then the Torch 2 should be out and some discounts will be applied for the holidays. I'm grandfathered in to the old unlimited plan so it pays to stick with a BB. I would likely have a problem with data on either an iPhone or Android device.

I'm due for an upgrade next month. Going with 9900, best of both worlds in my opinion. It will easily tide me over for next 2 years.

I have not decided yet... I'd have to buy it for the market price anyway :-(
I have decided to get me as an early Xmas gift the PB :-) Then I will have to check on my budget. If it is OK, then I'd choose between 9900 and Torch 2. Until then there should be some around to play with and decide.
If however I am short on budget, then I'll wait a little bit for the next generation BB toys

I have a 9700 w/ .600 shrunk w/ 25 apps & launchers, 90 mbs left. happy except for page too large. Communications are number one use, but I enjoy the information afforded by web. Eligible for upgrade 03/29/12. Should I wait for QNX equipment? I welcome opinions.

No clue...I like how my 9700 is a stable workhorse phone but the screen feels small (especially when compared to my hubby's Torch). I'm still running OS5 because I've seen too many threads of people with issues running OS 6 on the 9700.

We're eligible on one of our lines now but I'm waiting until I really see something I love in the new BB's or until I really have to upgrade from the 9700.

Tried oS 6 on my 9700(we know all the problems that brings). Was very disappointed in the Torch(can't do that sliding thing). Wanted the 9780 but AT&T didn't offer it so I'm stuck with the 9900. I'm not happy knowing Os7 is only going to be around for less than 2yrs. So the days of loading my 9700 up with a new Os is over(loved the fact you could have a new phone without buying a new device@ $400 or more). If the 9900 was rocking a front facing camera and Wifi hotspot,,I'd be all over it. But now I guess I'm waiting on a QNX phone...can't stand full touch screens got to have my key pad for typing(I can fly). So if you haven't guess by now....I LOVE BLACKBERRIES!!!!...talk to me family.

I'm eligible for an upgrade. I was considering the Atrix. I do like the 9700, though, and wish that an 9780 that will work on AT&T 3G was easier (and cheaper) to attain at this point. If it was, I'd certainly have that as my next option. I'd like to go with a 9900, but I'm not gonna but it right away. I'll let some other people get on it and then work out some of the OS kinds and see if has any major issues before I decide what my next upgrade options are. I do a lot of texting and stuff, so a keyboard is pretty important to me, but I think I can get used to a touchsreen with enough time and I feel like I'll eventually have to anyway.

Hmmm, well if the Bold 9900 doesn't make it out by summer's end and the Bold 9790 surprises us sooner ... I might just take a look at it.

OS6 on my 9700 is working well for me. I'll definitely look at the 9900, but I'm looking at switching carriers in the near future, so I'll be juggling a lot of cost/benefit options. We could be waiting quite a while for the QNX phones to appear and prove themselves...

Still loving my 9700, so don't see a need to change - yet. I can't see getting the 9900 if it's only going to be around for a year or so before QNX. So - I'd wait for the QNX, unless something goes drastically wrong with the 9700, in which case, it would be a 9900, unless the 9790 really comes out. I do like the size of the 9700.

I love my Bold 9700, but it is a bit small and I'm running OS 6.. Memory leaks... can't download too many apps..
    Yeah, the new 9900
