Even though only two of them have been "officially released" we have all seen the specs and pics of the other three, but where are they getting seven????

Official: (1) 9900 Bold Touch GSM (2) 9930 Bold Touch CDMA
Unofficial: (3) 9810 Torch "slider" (4) 9860 Torch "touch" (5) Next-Gen Curve GSM "Apollo" (6)Next-Gen Curve CDMA "Sedona"
??: (7) **Curve Touch CDMA Malibu**

    My lineup thoughts.....

    ***edit on the names***

That sounds about right, except number 5. I do remember seeing a real thin curve but don't remember what the speculated model number was. (9930 is the part that wasn't right, wasn't bashing)

Probably GSM and CDMA versions of the touch, bold and curve along with the GSM release of the torch slider. That makes 7.

Unless they meant new devices running 7. (Thought I'd provide the spin for them in case they miss target on any of these)

That can't be right. We already know there will be a 3G or 4G Playbook. That would be one of the 7 devices.

I was just wondering what the 7 new one were so the variations would count as 1. Unless as far fetched as it may be there is a model we have yet to see like a slide BlackBerry. Not like the Torch but a side slide form it would be interesting.

    I think it's a pretty simple lineup.

    - Bold (GSM & CDMA) = 2
    - Torch [all touchscreen] (GSM & CDMA) = 2
    - Curve (GSM & CDMA) = 2
    - Torch 2 (GSM) = 1

i distinctly remember mike on the webcast saying that the 9900/9930 were the first of seven new devices to be seen in the coming weeks. it definately seemed like he was counting them as one device.

If I have the model numbers correct it'll be....

    -Bold 9900/9930
    -Torch 9850/9860
    -Curve 9350/9360
    -Torch 9810

Too much for the Style and Pearl series? Maybe they are saving them for QNX? Or just going less families, better control?

I've seen this a few times; people are calling the full touchscreen the torch - wasn't it to be called the the "touch"?

It was seen on a few leaked things called the Torch. Odd I know, but I guess they can name them whatever they want :s

Most people believe they decided to add it to the Torch family line to get away from the bad karma the Storm name has gathered over the years.

The 9790.... Maybe it was saved for a future QNX-native release?

I still believe the 9790 was some sort of offshoot of the 9900/9930 project. I don't think there's any mystery here. Two Bolds, two full touch screen devices, two Curves, and the Torch 2 Slider. We've seen everything BB has coming.

Lineup doesn't look bad we just need them to launch soon, I am waiting for the full touch with that large 3.7 inch display.

I read somewhere recently that the Touch/torch had only a 1 GHz processor. I hope that was a typo. I thought there was only one new release with sub 1 GHz. I dunno, hope I was reading wrong and the touch/torch is 1.2GHz.
