i have had blackberry since os4.2, and went through 4.3, 4.5, 4.7.1, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0
And I have to be honest, 6.0 is by far the worst, and laggiest of them all.
its not something you need to figure out
Then you never ran a Storm with the early 4.7 builds or a Storm2 with any official from Verizon. I have the same phone, 9650, and I've run every build of BB6 out there, the lag went away with 431.
Great signal in my whole section of the state and my 9650 didn't feel right with 6. Ran great for awhile but after some time it started lagging for me.
I never thoght it lagged until I worked on my friends 9650 running 5 and was blown away but how much faster the menus and messages popped up.

yes OS6 might be OK at first, but it soon requires more and more battery pulls. And, it is really more for people who like to play with their phone and see pretty scrolling icons and effects and stuff.
If you prefer to use your phone as a tool to get back to what you were doing before you picked it up your phone in the first place, OS5 is a better choice. I downgraded to 5 and much happier. it does what you need, faster and no problems.
I wish RIM would get back to focusing on those of us who want a device that gets things done quick, lean, and efficiently with great call quality, rather than for computer buffs looking for all the entertainment features. A tool that tries to be two things, usually ends up being the worst of both.

You forgot to say "In my opinion".
BB6 doesn't "require more and more battery pulls". I never do battery pulls and rarely reboot, only when installing or deleting apps.
