Love BB's. Had a 9000 a long time ago but sold it after getting excited about the 9700. Loved that phone too, but I cracked the screen. Sold it, and got a Torch. Hated it due to the faulty slider I had on mine and "tin can" sound that was happening. Sold it and got a 9780, really liked that one.....but it had the keyboard stuttering issue. Sold it and got a crappy GoPhone from AT&T...

Today I picked up a used Bold 9000 from CL for $90 and it's seriously such an awesome phone. The guy had a Curve 9300 brand-new for $120, but with the 9000's awesome keyboard, crystal clear display and comfort factor there was just no comparison. It's in great condition too! Brought it home and updated to .1067 and it's AWESOME. The keyboard is just.....amazing. It makes me want to bug all my friends with text messages haha....

Who here is still using their 9000 and is still loving it?

The only thing with mine is that the trackball is kinda....grimey, looks gross. Works perfect though. Any way to get it back to it's white color?

I think the bold 9000 is the absolute best model from all BB
I chat quicker with my BB as with my pc keyboard.
I like the screen watch movies,tv, music with bleutooth read mails, and I use it more time a day then my pc.
Now used the JSL hybrid V6.0 and it's for me the best choose.
If I can change it for free for what kind model BB I don't change it.

    Enjoy DelftEo

Ive had the 9000 for nearly 2 years and now im upgrading to the 9700 because one day my 9000 decided to quit turning on for me. However, im hearing good things about the 9700 despite it having a smaller keyboard, in which, that was my favorite thing about the 9000 was the keyboard that I could type so fast on. Also, im a fan of the trackball as well but adapting to this new trackpad is gonna be interesting. I just hope I can get use to the phone as quick as possible and have as much love for it as I did with the 9000.

Hello fellow Bold 9000 owners! First post from a long time lurker. I absolutely love my 9000. It's the first Smart phone for me and I'm so glad I went with Blackberry, no regrets what-so-ever.

The 9000 is such a great phone that I decided to not up-grade to any of the newer models. I like the trackball just fine even though it does get dirty/gross and quirky at times if dirt particles find a way to the back side of it. I replaced the original trackball with a black one Ugliness of the discoloration fixed!

Looking forward to the New Bold but, I'm not jumping on the Day One band wagon. No need or desire to do that yet. My 9000 will be my main phone for a while to come I think.

Still using the 9000 and love it, I don't like the new trackpads and the new bb's have to small and crunched together keyboards. It might be time to upgrade if the 9900 is as good as they say. Only time will tell if the 9000 will ever be truely replaced

Plug your phone into your computer and get the latest
update, 1067 is no longer the newest. The newest OS is
super fast loading web pages and smoother over all
    compared to 1067.

+1 for Bold appreciation! After the 9000, I bought (AND kicked) 6 of the BB's released after it. Today, still rockin my original Bold. The only thing I have ever been unhappy with is the camera, but she's been so good to me that I can't hold it against her

The only thing with mine is that the trackball is kinda....grimey, looks gross. Works perfect though. Any way to get it back to it's white color?
Just swap it out with a new one. I have a few extra white 9000 trackballs, if you PM me your address I'll be glad to send you one.

I did the same, my trackball got so bad it looked orange. Popped a new one in and its bright white. That plus the new OS and I still love this phone big time.

I'm still using the 9000. It has been a dependable phone, and it has survived more drops on hard surfaces than I care to admit. I love the screen, the keyboard, the leather battery cover.

Never had the 9000. I was more of a 8900/9700/9780 user. Now that I'm using the 9900 (which is as wide as the 9000) I can see why everyone is in love with the 9000. The size is perfect for everything. The screen, the better keyboard. I do miss my 8900 trackball, but after using all of the above, I am now used to the trackpad.

The 9000 was the best in the Bold series IMO. The size of the keys and the way it just felt right in the hands. I am super excited for the 9900, just wish they had launched it in the place of the 9780!

I think that 9700 should not have been launched, it should be straight to 9780. But that's me. Anyhow, the bold series is the best thing RIM has ever made!!!

I totally agree. I am back to using my 9000 now. I have 9700, 9780, 9800 all sitting on the shelf. Had numerous problems and issues with all. 9000 still runs like a champ. I like the look and feel of it the best of all. I will try the 9900 when it is released but will keep old faithful around just in case.

The 9000 is actually the best. I have the 9780 and the 9630, yet my sister has the 9000 and I'm so jealous of her :P
It's the greatest BB, in my opinion. The size is just perfect and the keyboard is so spacious.
