    Hi everybody,

Just wondering if there's a way to find out the manufacture date of my 9700. I was going to sell my phone on kijiji and somebody was intersted. They wanted to know exactly how old the phone was. Not when I bought but when it was made. Its a rogers phone. I called rogers and asked if they could figure out via the IMEI. The tech guy had no idea how to find out.

Any help would be much appreciated...

    Thanks,

    Titan

Perhaps that is 20/11/10, which would mean a manufacture date of October 20th, 2010 - which sounds quite plausible.

+1 I didn't think about it that way, in my country we write the date in a different order.

    11 is November, not October.

warranty is good for one year from date of purchase i think, kinda hard to pinpoint that.

you can go into options > device and type "BUYR" without the quotes and it will show you the life timer of the phone, calls and data.
