I am a bit surprised as I purchased a $ .99 over the weekend from the BB App world, I am registered there with the BIS Email Address used on the BB. Paid via Paypal, got confirmation to my BIS email.
A day later, i am getting a " Thank you" email to my BES account from the developer and I am very very surprised and shocked how my corporate email is freely shared and apparently distributed by RIM.
Has anybody made similar experience on the App Store?!
How does Mobiband / Crackberry handles 3rd party and data?

Mobihand gives out your account email. BlackBerry App World gives out almost no customer data.
The app probably sent the dev an email (which it deleted after it was sent) using your default email address and they used that to add you to a mail list. I know of two devs who do that.
