Is there a way to make my phone not send me a notification every time there's an open network? There are multiple wifi netoworks at my job and I can't walk down the hallway without having at least one notification.

turn wifi off i leave mine off when not in use also saves battery life aswell i find

You can leave Wifi on. It does not effect battery life. It actually improves it if it's connected to wifi vs the radio in the phone.
