Hello all! How are users of OS 5? What you've got the Hybrid? This time I wanted to share the Hybrid that I dedicate to all users of OS 5 devices.

Brizan v3.0 (for All OS 5 Devices)

How To Install:
- Remove any installed OS and install base OS
- Download Brizan v3.0 (for All OS 5 Devices).exe
- Run installer, and set installation path to your Base OS
- Shrink OS (Optional)
- Backup your data and 3rd Apps.
- Run Loader.exe and install
- Restore your data and 3rd Apps and finishes ..

yes, indeed like that, so like replace the system. if you want to be sure please check when loader.exe process and see the contents of its module. thx

yes, this could be used for all base OS, but only os 5

Ran effectively on 1015 OS but after trying it on 1082, the browser was all messed up. I had to swap out some 6.0 browser files and replace them for it to work. Do you have any update coming for this one in motion?

At the time I'm posting this thread, it has not release OS 1082. So I do not work in the OS. Yes, I will update in the near future. I'm trying to unify all of the OS and devices so that all fix.

I tried applying your hybrid over Tour bundle 1735, but a large number of my apps threw the same error on launch: TextHitInfo._index missing

I just installed it today over .1041 on a 9530. Everything I've tried so far seems to work except for Google Talk. I did the standard battery pulls and even tried uninstalling and re-installing Google Talk, but it still doesn't work. It gives me an unhandled null pointer exception when you try and run the app.

Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas? Not having Google Talk work is a deal breaker for me.

Update on my Google Talk problem with this hybrid: updating to the just released Google Talk v2.5.85 solves the null pointer exception. I am happy with the battery life and memory degradation of this hybrid.

So I installed this yesterday. I was using facebook and browsing for around 1 hour 30 minutes and my battery went down by 15%. I guess its because its only in the first stages.

I re-downloaded all my apps and they all work. I updated facebook, twitter and app world to the newest versions and they still work. I don't know if I installed it right or wrong. But anyway this is how I did it:

I uninstalled my previous OS versions on my computer. I restarted my computer. I installed the os .938 (OS5) on my computer. I used bbsak to do a complete wipe on my device. I deleted the vendor file. Then I installed .938 on my phone using apploader. Then i download this hybrid. I didn't delete the files in the commonfiles>rim>shared>loader>.938 folder. When I installed the hybrid I made the installation path into the commonfiles>rim>shared>loader>.938 folder. After that I deleted the vendor file again and used app loader to install it into my phone. I then plugged my phone into the computer via usb. I went to blackberry appworld and installed all my old apps this way.

So at this point I have forgotten what I was going to say but for now I can say that everything has been smooth. The scrolling is nice but at some points it gets really fast but that's okay because it can be solved easily. I have only restarted the device 2 times (the first time after I changed all my app permission and the 2nd time was 6 hours after the 1st restart). Can I restart it more then 3x in 2 days or should I stick with your instructions.

Anyway I will edit it anything else I remember.

And if you talk on the phone how long do you talk and how much does the battery go down by?

I will be testing this out myself but I am still on the 1st day after installation.
