I am Having the worst luck with my bold 9000. I am on my 4th battery in 2 months. The original blackberry batteries i have will not last a hour. i went to at&t and got them exchanged them after they didn't hold up. i went to battery specialist and got one and it did the same thing it was a Rayovac battery then i got online and ordered the big 3000Mah battery and it lasts until lunch time. my phone comes on at 7:30 so its like 4 1/2 hours.

The only programs in the back that are running is phone, messages, home screen, browser which i close out if i use it., bbm, ubersocial which refreshes every 30 min. i also uninstalled ubersocial and the battery life was the same. It is driving me crazy. I don't talk on it very much at all. Rarely use bbm. I text more than anything but i wouldn't think that would drain a battery like that. Is there a place to get the electronic schematics on it so i can see if there's something wrong under the hood? My os is 5.0.0.1074 any help would be great.

4,5 hours is a Joke. Should deffinitely be more.
Are you certain that no apps are running in the Background (press Menu-Key).
Did you do a battery pull after you deinstalled Uebersocial?

Yeah I did a battery pull twice after uninstalling ubersocial. I pressing the menu key is how I typed off what was running. It's driving me crazy not knowing what's causing this battery drain.

I've got the same problem. And 4,5 hours is not a joke.

I would do a clean install by wiping the device with bbsak then reinstalling the latest OS. Then try not restoring your backup. You can always reconfigure your email accounts and use the phone but don't restore yet.

If after a day you still have the same issue: it's hardware related (could be water damage for example).
If you get good battery life: there might be something wrong with your backup so try restoring only the crucial parts of your backup (only check Contacts, Memo, Calendar, Tasks and Password Keeper).

Tip: install Battery Watch (free on appworld) to see a graph of your battery usage. Might help to figure out what the problem is.

After four batteries, I'm confident that your battery isn't the issue.
    Hope this helps!
