I haven't figured that out yet either - I've just been closing the game and reopening it...

You dont't have to involve a PC at all. It can all be done directly on the PB. Hold down on the download link and select "save link as". This will put the .swf file in your downloads folder. Go to this link in the browser "file:///accounts/1000/shared/downloads/" and proceed with the steps outlined above.

Can't wait to try this. If I can add a tip, you can move the downloaded file without having to connect to a PC by going to \\PB IP Address\media or by using the free app: AIR Browser

I haven't figured that out yet either - I've just been closing the game and reopening it...

Just click the X in the lower right corner. It is only visible for me in full screen mode so don't forget to double click the game once it starts up to make it go full screen like any flash content..

Great find! Finally we can stash some SWF files on there and play them at will! I grabbed a non-english version of Angry Birds as a SWF and I'll share it here for those that want to use it with this method.

This is pretty cool. I thought Duck Hunt would be cake with the touch screen. Not so much. I'd love to know how you extract these files, cuz there are some fun flash games out there.

Just noticed that too... For some reason it doesn't want to play locally, but if you open that link on your playbook, it will play from the site... Odd...

theres a script developers can put into swf files that check to see where they are being run from. if you save them to your harddrive or host them and try to run them on your webpage, they will know and will not run. almost like drm for swf files

Yeah, I've ran into this issue a number of times today in my quest of usable games

There are a number of games out there but all the really cool ones require keyboard commands, which does work on the PlayBook but the d@mn keyboard takes up half the screen
