Heh... I could find a blu ray player cheaper than a PS3, not a good enough reason to buy an inferior game system. (just kidding, kinda). 360 rocks! Only other consoles/systems in my house (besides PC) are my son's Wii and DS.
It depends alot with the games you are going to be playing too. For online gaming right now XBOX live is superior to PSN, but PSN is free.
That's true. I love XBOX live. I can't think of any PS exclusive games that are really must haves for me. 2 of my faves are Halo and Fable... so that also helps. Can't say that I'm on it much, I'm more of an XBOX widow most of the time cause we only have 1 and I hate split screen play! But come fall w/Fable 2... momma's gettin an elite!
Im a EA Sports fanatic, so when Madden drops I play that for a good 3-4 months lol. then NBA 2k comes out and Im good for another 2-3 months...in between that Call of Duty every and Metal Gear Solid 4
no $$$ spent to play games online...its only $50 but still...side by side comparisons are only valid if the user themself perform the testing...some sites are bias to either system...rrod-hmmm...youtube ps3 home...thats tuff
lol what? what do u mean user them self testing? its a visual split screen comparison, direct feed from the machines... all you need are eyes to see the diff... rrod gets fixed for free and todays systems arent doing it anymore.
home is nothing, besides 360 is gettin somethin called gamerpad or some **** that is like home but better.
360 also has a marketplace and come september, we will be able to download unlimited movies with netflix and watch them over live with our friends.
As far as that side by side testing not being accurate unless you do it yourself....i have done it myself. Since I have both systems...i ran the PS3 and the xbox 360 side by side with Call of Duty 4. The 360 looked better and was faster than the ps3 was....and on top of that...the ps3 claimed 1080p and would only give 720p. I have never not been able to get 1080p off of my xbox. Just my 2 cents.
