I have had a Bold on Verizon for about two months now and last night I upgraded to the new OS 6 version for it and my email said it needed an update. Once I did the email update on my device, during the reboot it would freeze right before loading fully. I cannot get my computer to recognize it and I cannot boot it into any safe mode. Any ideas of how to get it working or how to restore it? I let the loading screen sit all night and it still has not come up.

You can also try downloading bbsak and wiping the whole phone and starting from scratch.

@diaryberry your fix for my device has worked perfectly. Thank you for all your help. Now I am back up and running like I was before the .524 update. Thanks again.
