Anyone notice whether the 9900/9930 has wifi? I didn't see anything about it from the conference. I really hope this will be in the phone.

I think they should have. Otherwise, RIM and their designers are idiots

Any new device released without wifi is an instant dud. Wifi is basically a requirement now.

Of course, looking now that the OP has an 8330, it's no wonder they are concerned with wifi. That 8330 is a dinosaur (without wifi).

Yeah, 8320 had Wi-Fi back then, but at that timeand for another couple yearsall CDMA BB's (like 8330) did NOT have Wi-Fi. Even Tour didn't, until it was refreshed. Oh sorry, the Tour wasn't refreshed. The Bold 9650 was just coincidentally released...

Seriously though, I thought it was cool first time I saw they had SD cards now with built-in Wi-Fi that can automatically upload your photos to your hard drive whenever they connects to your home network.

    Yes indeed!

I think all releases noted it was a/b/g/n. The Dual-Band part was even bolded in some releases. Dual-Band necessary? No. Cool? Yes.
