Best - Torch... op is crazy

Worst - curve 8900. trackball got grimy and couldnt be easily replaced like the 8300.. plus i had a 9000 at the time so it always felt painfully slow to use when id help a friend with theirs.

Well if you want to FORCE a vote out of me, then....

    Best: Bold Line 9000, 9650, 9700, 9780

    Worst: Pearl Line 8100, 81XX, 82XX, 91XX

HOWEVER I can see how some folks might prefer the Pearl line, and at one point considered an 82XX. Also when talking worst BBs one MUST mention the 9530/9500 Storm1, although, I DID like my Storm2.

Like I said though this is VERY subjective!

I've had only 1 blackberry for 2 years now. Storm 1. That is right. I have had no major issues with it, I'm must be one of the few people who has liked this phone, except for the awful amount of application space. Looking to upgrade, really want another touch, but don't want to get the Storm 2 if a new all touch screen is coming soon... holding my breath...

For me the curve line has been phenomenal.. Have a curve 3G now and the 8330 before that.. I love the keys on the curve!

Worst line for me would be the pearl 81xx and so on.. They are way to small!

My first bb was a pearl because it was free at the time. I didn't think I'd be doing any typing on the device so I didn't need a larger qwerty keyboard. That only lasted a few weeks!! So I don't know if that makes the device bad or I was too stupid to know my needs.

Regardless the worst device would be the storm.

The best was either my Bold 9000, or my Torch. God I love the larger screen. It is seriously under powered though

Torch 9800 saved by the bell, because it has turned out to be a good modem for the Playbook.

The worst is yet to come . . . .

    Torch > 9000 > 9650 > 8530 > 8330 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 9630.

I would burn the 9630 if I still had it.
NOTE: 9000 compared to it's time period VS the 9650 compared to it's time period. Hardware wise the 9650 is obviously a lot better without the ram issues and whatnot.

Edited to show the gap between the 8330 and 9630. Don't want people thinking they were close.

Started with an 8130 coming from a UTStarcom 6700, then advanced to the 9700. 8130 is nice, just don't use it with dirty greesy fingers, that is all. 9700 is a winner.

I would say best is the Bold series... that said I started my Blackberry experience with an 8900 and loved that phone.

Worst... Sorry Storm, but you didn't make the cut.

Pearl is... not for me, but I can see the attraction.

    My next phone: Bold Touch

I also have an 8300 as a backup phone, and that thing deserves a lot of credit considering its age! I think I can type faster on that keyboard than any other Blackberry...

I haven't had too many BlackBerry phones yet. My first one was a Pearl and it was okay...but now I have had the 9700 for a while and it is 100 times better. So:

Best: Bold 9700(I heard the whole Bold series rock!)

Worst: Pearl series, although there are many people unhappy with the storm series so far.

Pearls are either a love it or hate it. I have a friend who swears by them. Refuses to use any other BB. Some people love the compact size and lightweight. Plus SureType.

They're all good in their own way. Pearls are very pocketable, 8900 had no 3G so it could do UMA calling, UMA and 3G wasn't possible at the time, the 9700 was the first that could do both.
Judge every phone for the time it was launched not for using it now.

Best-bolds, and I liked the tour (it was my 1st bb)

Worst-curves, once you get a higher end bb with the higher screen res. And flash its hard to go back
