You do have to buy the phone though (Blackberry 8530), which is around $200, however, it's very much worth it. I have used VMUSA's BIS service for some months now and it has been excellent and dependable, helping me tremendously with my business.
$100 CAD / mo. Blackberry torch, unlimited messaging, my 10 unlimited calling, 300 minutes, free evenings and weekends @6pm, 1gb data, caller id, voicemail. second line with an iphone 3gs, shares all of the above...
Way too much!!! I like how the Telecom Act of 1996 helped make the industry more competitive and reduce costs. What a joke. By the way, if the telecom companies keep merging they'll be back like they were prior to divestiture in the 80s.
I use Virgin Mobile like BBFX..but I bought the 1200 Minute plan, so I pay $40 for the UNL messaging/data/web/email/1200 Min and $10 for the BIS service. After taxes (I live in NY, so they may tax NY and not other places), I pay $54.44..which isn't bad at all, IMHO.
I also had to buy my phone, but instead of getting it on the Virgin Mobile website, I got it on the Walmart website for $189 (that was with the $150 price tag, plus tax and next day shipping).
I've had my BB for about 2.5 months now and I'm very happy with it.
20 a month for 9700. 300 mins/unlimited data/unlimited texts. it's supposed to be a curve monthly plan but got a bold. I know its no that many minutes though.
$75/month (before taxes) for 1 phone, 1000 mins I can't use when I want to because the coverage is unpredictable, and 1Xev data. My phone is broken and if I want a new one without paying full retail, I can either renew this contract for 2 more years, or pay more for 450 minutes and the same coverage. USCC. Just shoot me.
I have 5 lines on my 1400 att family plan with blackberry and iphone both with $30 unl data plan. I pay $220 a month. My friend with verizon has two lines a droid and blackberry and he pays $175 a month.
