Ok so I have an HTC Thunderbold from Verizon and I am trying to load a song onto there. I do have it on there but I'm trying to set it as a ring tone and there is no sound when the phone rings.
Is there a specific folder I am supposed to put it into?
This is driving me crazy.
It is so easy to do on my Bold.
Someone help, please.

On the root of your sd card place it in media/audio/ringtones or media/audio/notifications and it will show up when you go to select your notifications/ringtones.

So you can't just "set it as" a ringtone AND listen to it with your other mp3s? Does this mean you'll have 2 copies of it on your card? That's dumb.
