For some reason when I installed a new program today (page on program?? In blackberry app store now). My phone came up with a Java script error and rebooted it's self. Now the phone is in a cycle where it reboots over and over. Any ideas is greatly appreciated please.
I have the newest update from ATT and I have backups from blackberry protect. I have tried hooking it up to the my computer but can't get it to boot long enough for my computer to recognize it. I have also switched the battery as well.
The first thing I would do is start your torch in safe mode then remove the app you just installed. To start your torch in safe mood all you need to hald the back arrow button while its booting. I would try that first.

definitely try safe mode, before wiping and reloading the OS
I have done the instructions to the "T" for reloading the OS. When it comes up with the Device application Selection, in step 3, everything is greyed out and there's nothing to add. Any suggestions?
Ok thank you for everyone's help. I finally got it working. I think this is the best blackberry I have every had and the first time I have had a problem with it. I read all the time how someone is having a problem with theirs and think this is great when people are there to help!!
Think i'm having similar problem, and this is a replacement phone getting yet another replacement today if it doe's not work, could you tell me exactly what you did with your phone,As my provider is not much help.
I was adding new apps to my Torch and I had a similar issue. I used BBSAK (Blackberry Swiss Army Knife) to find the offending program in the CODS and delete it.
