Anyone order HDMI cables from monoprice? If so, can someone give thier opinion on the quality of the cable...and output. I am wondering if i should order from there or get it from a local store.
They are great. I have been buying all my speaker wire and cables from them for a few years, including my micro hdmi cable. Excellent quality, price, and shipping speed.
I've ordered about 3 HDMI cables from them and they all failed within a month (one failed in the first week). I just ran them from my TV to my laptop. They didn't bend, get crushed, get pulled on, or anything. The connectors just fell apart.
That being said, I still love their prices and their RMA process is good.
Or you can buy one of Crapples $40 video out adapters then still have to buy the hdmi cable. What a joke.
Apple added the hdmi out to accomodate schools for projectors and boardrooms. This is 2011, apple consumer ecosystem users dont need 15ft cables across the living room to the tv.

Whats next rotary phones?
Yeah and they don't do flash because its 'obsolete.' The fact that you feed into their games is quite sad. Apple makes devices for the general consumer that isn't tech savvy and has to have everything spelled out for them. These people don't know what flash is, nor do they have an idea of what a full website looks like. Apple will only be as successful as their consumer is oblivious.
I got mine from Bestbuy, working great and cost nothing with my rewards card points
Ordered a few 15' cables from them a few weeks ago. They work great and are of very good quality construction. One of the few cables I have that doesn't retain the coil when first rolling it out...
I have janky low budget TV I'm hooking it to (720P) and it has a little jitter, but I'm thinking that's just the TV and not the cable.. I'll try it on a few more things soon enough...
I ordered the 6ft and used it to connect to my 46inch tv. Quality was awesome and really shows off the awesome 1080p recording capability of the playbook.

Flash on mobile devices is dead (if it ever lived) Why do you think RIM added the flash disable ability on playbook and even this web site operator said he would browse with it disabled to speed things up?
Yeah, all you'd need is a $100 Apple TV, such a better option than buying a $5 cable...
moron
Using your logic, corded telephones are better than wireless to save a buck.
Do you realize that you can get a myriad of video content to the tv for <$100. Yet it seems many have bought a playbook as a $500 video transfer unit to their tv.

Is it the 7" screen that makes this vital?
Corded phones and cordless phones don't have a $95 price difference.
You have to be a major Apple sheep to buy something as useless as an Apple TV just so you can stream movies to your TV.
