Wondering if anyone has info on UMA with the bold, is the bold coming out with uma enabled or without .. any ideas .. also can some one give the break down on what uma really is and the benefits ..

I asked my rep and answer was originally yes. Then went to the Blackberry Bold launch party and RIM rep told me no. Spoke again with Rogers rep...he contacted a rogers data engineer resource and confirmed that the Bold would not do UMA. The reasoning was something to do with UMA not working right with the 3G chip...hence why it is in the non-3G devices.
With Rogers, no from the very beginning they will NOT be compatible with the UMA features. Which is stupid, but they also don't claim that it will never work, so who knows.
Ugh this is such a useful feature it might be worth getting a javelin if it has uma. The only difference between the two is the 2G/3G and the 3.2megapixel camera rite?
