Yeah is this an issue that should be working eventually or something that is working for most people and just isn't working for us?

Going to be a lot of 16GB units returned if this is truly the case. I was always under the impression that we could utilize the files from our BB phone sd cards on the PB using bridge. I hope that there is a fix on this real soon, or at least someone with knowledge to let us all know if it is something that is or is not coming.

Looks like only certain type of files are supported

I have the 32GB, everything seems to be fine BUT...I am disappointed that I can't use BBM from the Playbook AND this is the biggest, I can't transfer/access files on my phone (like pics) from the Playbook. I can't even send with bluetooth. Maybe I am not doing something right but I have googled all manner of enquiries and am finding no answers. This is why there are so many Apple fanboys and RIM haters.

does anyone know if other file types will be supported? Photos? Videos?
If not, I will be returning this thing!

I'm thinking they will all be supported, else why have a file system in the first place? For the record, you can seen docs and pdfs (at least I can)

I can see PDFs I have downloaded from the web under the Bridge File Browser. BUT, I cannot see how to delete these files? I can select and open, but no delete?

pardon me for asking but is your device charging? If so, you will not have access to your media card.
