Yea, I was waiting on Blackberry Touch as well... no way I am going to S2, I have been S1 owner from day 1. Don't know what the problem is, I thought requirements were 5.0 or above...
Unless it is Verizon blocking them, I would expect to see a 9530 version soon. The
Storms are among the most common blackberries. In fact I can't download a Storm2 version yet either. I ado fully expect both devices will get Bridge rolled out if not later today sometime this week. If they don't I am sure someone will put the cod files up for download somewhere.
One thing that irks me about the BB App World is that only certain models are sometimes listed for Apps. The Verizon 8330, 9330, 9630, 9550, 9330 are all on the list for the BB Bridge, yet the 9530 isn't? And when a new phone is released - the developer has to go back an ADD the new model number to its "supported devices" list.
The supported device list should be by resolution size or phone name (Bold/Curve/Storm/Torch/Pearl).
I have the Storm 9530 v5.0.0.328 on Verizon...finally showed up 10 mins ago and downloaded it with no problem. Picking the Playbook up at lunch today...can't wait!
I downloaded bridge on my Storm 2 via Verizon with no issues. Had to do a search using "bridge "to find it, but it was there. Don't download first one on the list that is the tether app.
No worries if it hasn't shown up yet! it's just app world taking its time. If it shows up with a greyed out download button, then your carrier isn't supported. Storm 9530 version is ready for download in the US. At some point today your app world should refresh.

yeh its bloody annoying especially when you have crackberry announce an app that intrigues you only to find out your locked out and generally that due to the carrier not having it available.
Edited: The Storm makes bridge browsing very slow compared to wifi but will have to live with that limitation until the Monaco arrives. Can't wait to get more memory on a new phone!
When the PB went through the setup it asked "do you have a Blackberry phone", I said "why yes I do", then it told me to scan the barcode on its screen with my phone which connected me to App World and loaded Bridge onto my Storm.
Then it activated the PB Bridge and I was off and running... no smarts needed on my part except to follow directions.
This is overly simplified, but maybe these steps from the User Manual will get you started. I usually don't keep Bluetooth enabled so I finally remembered to do that and everything worked like clockwork.
1. On your tablet home screen, on the status bar, tap > BlackBerry Bridge.
2. Tap Setup > Continue.
3. In the BlackBerry Bridge app on your smartphone, tap Add Device > Next.
4. Point your smartphone camera at the barcode that appears on your tablet to scan the barcode.
