Actually came across the Yt vid when it only had 300 some views. Thought it was a joke until I watched it. Wish I had more to go on.

bah 6.0 is totally not optimized for non touch devices, I deleted it and I shall wait.....and wait and wait

I don't understand this sentiment. I rarely use the touchscreen on my Torch. Trackpad still feels most natural to me.

Cool to see more leaked vids of the Bold touch... Just one question, couldnt really tell from the vid above. But is the (send key, menu key, escape key, end/power key) also going to be touch or is it an actual key we have to press down?

from what i've seen/heard i can assume they'll be actual buttons and not touch sensitive. i sure hope that's the case anyway...

they are buttons. just like the torch and other newer BB's, they all have flat looking buttons now.

I don't understand this sentiment. I am speaking about the software and not the hardware of your phone. It's not that it won't work with a trackpad (I feel the Torch is an awkward phone btw) but that is can be easily used with touch or track, giving you that strong option. Whereas 5.0 would be ehh on a phone like the Bold Touch, with such small screen real estate, you need something like 6.1 to make it more liquid smooth

I use the touch screen constantly for navigating, scrolling, and anything that doesn't require a touch that's more precise than a link on a web page. I probably use the track pad for selecting text for cut & paste more than anything, although sometimes I'll use it to scroll through menus when it's more convenient than a finger-swipe. It's probably 75-25 touch screen to trackpad for me ... but I would definitely not want to lose the trackpad, because when I need it, no amount of screen-touching will substitute.
