I'm missing some features in the normal calendar app. I want to see if there are others which are better.
    The features i miss are:
    -Duplicate an appointment
    -Comfortable weekview
-Better monthview with preview of a days appointments
-Connecting appointments to contacts (without attendee email sending)
    -Showing history of contact appointments

I believe that Calendar Pro is the best.
I used 2day from ShSh on my Palm Centro/Treo.

    Good Luck

I also vote for Calendar Pro. One bonus is that you can set colors to categories for your appointments. They have a free trial, so check it out first before having to buy.

Do these 3rd calendars replace the native BB calendar?

I want to know if these work with today or hidden today type themes.

I like the native BlackBerry Calendar app. It is enough for me.

In the case of Calendar Pro, it does not replace your native calendar. In fact, I think their program needs the native calendar to function................. but I don't remember why. Good luck.

I have used a few 3rd party calendar apps and they do not replace the native calendar. When you input a calendar date within the 3rd party calendar, it will also show up in the native calendar. I tried Calendar Pro and didn't like it. I wish the developers of Handy Calendar would create one for Blackberry.

I am also using the native Calendar app. Works just perfectly for me.

I really like RIM's native Exchange sync. So I have all my calendar events always in sync. Pretty smooth.

    You could also try pocketinformant.

These apps rely on the native calendar, but just adds fluff for more options.
