    Just wondering if the PB needs a wifi connection for the bridge to work? I'm not getting a data plan for my PB so I will only have wifi at home, but having bbm on a 7" screen anytime would be wicked

    no, the bridge option uses bluetooth

    Also you need a Blackberry running OS5 or higher.
