Hello,

I was wondering if I could use desktop 6 to update my Bold to the newest OS5 that ATT put out today? Is Desktop 6 only for OS6? I tried looking that info up and came up without any answers

You can use the latest Blackberry Desktop. In fact, it will mostly likely detect your Bold when you connect it and offer to install the latest OS.

I have both the 5 and 6! So I didn't know which one to use So I will just remove the 5 I guess! Thanks for the reply, I am waiting so very patiently for the newest bold to come out...mine is on it's last leg I am hoping this new OS that ATT put out will help a bit.

I still have a 9000 (in great shape, I love it) and use DM6 with no problems

Just as a heads up, it is always recommended to update the OS for your phone using the Loader.exe app rather than desktop manager.
