I run this program on my blackberry that is called handheld contact. In a nutshell it manages my customers and appointments etc. It is essential to work in my organization. I now have to many contacts on the program and my 64 MB memory can't hold it.

If i buy a memory card and put it in does that expand my memory for third party applications too or is it only for music?

No it doesn't. The memory card is usually used for music,
pictures, video, ringtones. It cannot store apps or themes

But it is a good idea to get one

I think that is based on the abilities of the 3rd party app. Where can this "handheld contact" be found?

You can store files (need to load them on with Media Manager, or enable Mass Storage mode, and you can load them with your file explorer) on the micro sd, but unless they're media files, you can't access them.

true the card would only hold media files, but do u have any music or anything on ur BB right now? u could put that on the card and free up some space.

but a program that cant hold many contacts in a 64mb doesnt seem right...

ever try the calender and address book on ur bb? pretty handy :P no app needed :P
