Why do you like Flixster over Poynt? I haven't tried Flixster, but sounds like it's the same featurewise as Poynt's movie section. And then Poynt is also a restaurant finder, yellow pages, white Pages w reverse number lookup, and even gas price checker for US users.

Flixster - in response elite1, I prefer this for movie information only. It has more detail including more reviews, links. poynt is a great app as a package for other non movie information...my 2p worth..

Poynt is pretty good too, but a few reasons.
-Poynt has a decent amount of duplication with Google Maps, and I end up switching to GM to map anything anyhow...
-Don't think Flixster has any advertisements.
-I like the flixster UI a lot, tabs at the top, nice list of items below it. Simple and quick. Bit easier to use than Poynt imo, although poynt still has a nice UI.
Compare the list of items in Movies in Poynt to a list of Movies in Flixster... Flixster looks much nicer and has (A LOT) more info.
-the Poynt movies carousel view lags while you're scrolling through it (quite often).
-In app review layout is way better... Click any movie on Flixster and you can scroll down and see all the Rotten Tomatoes reviews (actual text) and Flixster reviews on the same page, without doing anything.

Poynt is a more featured app, but Flixster is much better for movies.
