if everybody else wont mind id like to make an open inquiry on what is the best official OS version for 9780 until this date. with all the versions i see in the forum i hardly cant tell which should be the best one (stability, lesser bugs, etc.)

Just to let you know guys know that I'm finally done with the upgrade just now and everything seems to be even MORE than perfect to me! What a great, bug-free OS release, I must say.

480 is the best OS6 across all devices IMO, 9800, 9700, and 9780, very stable.

been running 480 for about 2 days. i agree 480 really is the best. its been smooth all around. no bugs at the moment. battery life is decent enough. the OS is pretty fast.

i made a shift to .461 and i find it better on 9780. feels more smoother than .480. i think im gonna stick with this one for the moment. .480 just dont feel fine for me.
i just have one issue to resolve on .461 though, the famous BBM cursor which of course i resolved right away.

.461 > .480 (leak) > .461 (lost the leak so had to roll back) > .480 (official)

I still prefer .480.

ML, why ask for confirmation? You should know, I remember you going back and forward with .480 and some other version. And which are you running now?

martzlimpin, try a clean install... If the OS is not "more smoother" then probably something didn't go so well in the update.

Apparently the Official and the Leaked versions are exactly the same. But I had a slightly different experience this time. The battery life for me on the leaked .480 was not so good. But it's quite good now that I am on the Official version. This was observed with an approximately identical usage on both versions, with no apps installed.

What was your experience between the leaked and the official .480?

The Official Version did the trick for me. The battery life now is quite good.

My signal sucks at home, hence why I don't do any battery reports anymore.

On my old appartment, I could easily pull out 3 days of a Curve. It's a struggle to get 2 days out of the Bold. On EDGE...

But if I go out, it lasts forever. Too bad I can't live out. ><

Thanks for the input, but what about your basic experience between the Leaked and the Official version. Any significant observation? ..or even you agree that the Official version of any OS is exactly the same as the Leaked one?

Already tried asking a "folk" in a post above..,

What was your experience between the leaked and the official .480?

..but the "folk" is soo busy with 'sarcasm' that he doesn't even read the complete post before replying.
Anyways, Phill has answered my query (without any taunts or sarcasm).., so thanks for your suggestion but no thanks..
