Very nice! ... I'm thinking of ordering a different bezel, one that's all black. Also, this one, even though it looks nice, seems to be cheaply made. It feels cheap and not sturdy at all. I've also noticed that since installing it, the mute key is super sensitive - like, I'll be in the middle of texting and my phone will just go into keyboard lock, idk how or why that is, but it happens frequently. I switched out to the previous bezel just to compare and it never happened once. So I'm guessing that the buttons just don't align right with this one. But at least it'll look nice until I can get a better quality bezel.
Looks nice! I did mine a few years ago, the black glossy bezel. It's flaked off in areas, on the right side mostly, though it's still black underneath that. I don't mind really, though I'd swap it out on a new one if I were to do a hand me down on this Bold sometime in the future.
I just replaced the housing on my 9000 last night. Went with the black and black keys. Looks much better then the chrome bezel that was original. Only thing I found was that with the replacement keyboard the track ball seemed to sit much lower and was harder to use. I did a comp with the original and replacement keyboard and there was a noticeable difference. So i just used the original keyboard. works great and looks good.
it was black before. i changed the entire housing to white a few months ago but the quality of the ebay housing was quite low and the paint on the keyboard buttons started falling out.
I just ordered a new housing/lcd/battery cover/keyboard for my Bold off Ebay. Its a glossy blue, was this a bad idea? Do you think it'll be made cheap from Hong Kong and not align? :\

As far as I know there are no original housings for sale. All made in China.
Quality is different. More expensive - better the quality.
Oh yeah, forgot to say - don't try to change lcd lens. There is a big chance you will break it. Some people claim that it is safe to change but the chances are 50/50. Some people change, some fail. New lcd is expensive.

don't forget that once u change lens, there will be a gap in between the lens and the lcd screen where a lot of dust and dirt can get in and settle behind the lens, making it very annoying.
WOW!! looks real sharp! You all have my mind racing on what to do with mine! i was lucky enough to get a brand new White 9000 today on my re-entrance to BB (back from the void of droid, and GLAD to be back)... the modding of these puppies is the most fun part of being a BB owner!
