    I am an AT&T user and have been experiencing problems of not being able to successfully send text (SMS) to various carriers since Sunday.

    Verizon
    For example, my friends who have Verizon as their carrier, they can send me messages but when I reply they never receive the reply.

    Sprint
    My friends can recieve my text SMS messages but this is how it comes out on their end. (ie. H@e@y w@h@a@t@'@s u@p).

    I just spent an hour on the phone with AT&T and got nowhere. I figured I would come on here where the experts are ;-)

    First off, do you have 4.5?

    Ensure your sms message center number is correct.

    Options --> SMS TEXT --> +13123149810

    I hope your number is the same as mine.

    If that is correct and sending service books don't work (can be done on the BIS site), I would say to wipe your berry and start over.

    actually dont do a master reset contact att tell them to contact verisign they are the ones that would handle a inter carrier issue and the rep you had must be a newbie to not have known that
