So I have a blackberry curve 3G, ands it is a good phone, but one thing totally bugs me. Everytime I get a notification or a SMS, it makes this really annoying bleep noise. Is there a way to mute this or stop it? Thanks

You can set the profile to silent (no sounds or vibrations at all), vibrate (vibrations instead of sounds), or phone calls only (only will sound if you get a phone call).
It is also possible to alter the sounds in any chosen profile.
You can also unselect Notify Me During Calls on the sounds within the profile, that way it let's you know about the message when you aren't on the phone and doesn't when you are.
