so far ive liked the playbooks marketing campaign.it seems to be that they are just tempting you at every turn.even much so that they want to remain on the back of everyone's mind even at todays major ipad event so that a direct comparison can be made in each consumers mind when apples device is unveiled. in a sense it is bold that they are directly challenging the apple fans and the tech pundits to take a snap at them.it all depends on if this is ipad 2 or ipad 1.5 being released today.RIM has taken the war to apples doorstep lets hope they succeed.

RIM's like the shy kid sitting in the corner.

Whispering "Hurrmmm..i've got a tablet too" as they meekly hold it up.

No official marketing campaign because the product is not available yet. Simple as that.

The only thing they've been doing is a "road show" for developers and businesses (e.g. carriers, enterprise partners), which is the way to do it because this is a completely new platform.

suicidal, "dead on arrival" keeps echoing on the back of my mind. When the PB is ready, they better throw down good, can't hold anything back..or else just continue with their out of date phone line.

RIM and marketing don't mix. They can't market. I really got into the playbook via youtube and that is sad.
