    Hello,

I am in need of an LCD for my 9650 and just need some help on where to find a good one. I am pretty sure the 9650 and 9630 lcds are the same but please correct me if I am wrong. I have a low budget, so I was looking at this item for example on eBay: US LCD Display FOR Blackberry Tour 9630 004-111/112 - eBay (item 280607434430 end time Mar-22-11 19:02:19 PDT)

There is also a few for $19.99 from the same big seller. My problem is that they seem very cheap in comparison to others hence it may be a problem, like I have had with other cheap ebay stuff. What are your opinions? What is the lowest I can pay for a good lcd? I have also been looking at buying parts phones or bad esns, but they seem to be expensive as well. If anyone knows of a good website or someone on this forum looking to sell a parts 9650/30 or lcd or whatever please let me know.

    Thank you.

Looking at several parts websites, the 19.99 price with free shipping via Hong Kong is a pretty good deal. It looks like you can return it also if I was looking at the right seller. The one you listed for 24.99 looks good and you will get faster as it is a US seller and they offer 100% guarantee as long as you notify them of any problems right away.

So you think it is trustworthy? I just feel like when there are some that are costing $50+ dollars ones for $19.99 are too good to be true. There are so many small electronic gimmicks on ebay with weird sellers from other countries. But I guess with the guarantee, it is okay/safe? any one else's thoughts?

also, just to make sure, the 9630 screen would fit in the 9650 right?

You could probably buy a used 9630 pretty cheap.

There are actually 2 different LCD's that have been used on the 9650's. The most common is the 004/111 version which was also used on the 9630 but there are also one's which use the 002/111. I refurbish these phones and sell on ebay so I'm very familiar with them. You will need to remove the LCD and look at the numbers stamped on the back to determine which version you need. The 004/111 is by far the cheapest. You can get it for about $20 on ebay. The 002 version is around $60.

I have a blackberry Tour LCD with the following model number on the back

    LCD-16659-004/111/112
    /113 VB1004088M22

Is a 004/111/112 compatible? Most I have found lack the /113 on the second line.. Thanks
