Can anybody help me figuring out this problem.

When I try to use the camera in my BB Curve 8300, it generates the following error code:

" UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION JAVALANG ARRA INDEXOUTOFBOUNDSEXCEPTION "

Moreover its display has become dull.

Device Software version is 4.2

do a battery pull and see if it solves the issue. if not, it needs at least to be wiped and have the OS reloaded. if that doesnt work, it needs to be returned.

i've see this happen once in a while and it usually has to be returned under warranty.

....or he could upgrade the OS on the phone. Mine was doing that as well but since I upgraded to 4.5 i've had no issues with the camera.

battery pulls always fix my uncaught exceptions...

Battery pull didnt fix my problem. I have tried to install new operating system but unfortunately it stopped with an error msg like " SOME FILES ARE MISSING ".
