I've had my Curve for a year now and I can remember rumors last fall about the next OS past 4.2.2. First it was 4.3, then 4.5. I know there are leaked betas of 4.5, but I'm only interested in official releases.

At this point with the impending release of the Bold, Kickstart, and Javelin, I doubt AT&T will release anything past 4.2.2, and they'll sunset all the Curves without ever upgrading their OS.

Once At&t approves one of the versions of 4.5, they need to train their CSR's on the OS. So it takes a little time. With these new builds being stable, we can't be far off.

Not sure why, but my 8120 from AT&T seems to be running on 4.3.0.91.

Trust me I would rather run an official att but since I am running 4.5.0.52 and it is running stable and works perfectly for me now! I can say just download an official release from a different carrier and enjoy! I do know that att will release as soon as they are ready to!

When it gets released to me is not the biggest concern. The most important thing is what version will they relase.
