Can someone tell me if the 9780 uses the same size SIM card as my Bold 9000?

I am seriously considering purchasing this phone from an on-line vendor as I have no idea when AT&T will get off the dime and launch the phone. I do not, however, desire to do so if I have to go to an AT&T store to have them swap out SIM cards.

Pretty sure the SIM card size is the same throughout the whole BlackBerry lineup

Yes it uses the same sim cards. Go for it! It's a major upgrade that's definately worth it

Before you purchase it, make sure that it is not T-Mobile branded. If it is T-Mobile branded, you will not get 3G on AT&T, since they use different 3G frequency bands.

Thanks all, I was concerned as I was reading an article showing how to cut a SIM down to a "micro-SIM" suitable for use in an iPhone and did not want to have to do that at this time.

As for the bands differing between AT&T and T-Mobile, the phone as spec'd on AT-GSM is set for AT&T's bands.
