I was wondering if anyone knows if Garmin works on OS6? I've got the Bold/9650 but would not like to lose Garmin (as well as other apps). Oh, and their site does even show the 9650, never mind the version of the OS. And it does run on my Bold.

Now that the OS 6 is official, I am starting to get tempted to try OS 6 for my 9650 but I would like the Garmin app to work.

Anyone have ideas? Hmm. Maybe I will ask in the Torch forum....

Thanks. I did check in with the Torch forum and saw discussions. I may give OS6 a try if I can get over the lack of Column View in the Browser.

Hi F2,
Are you still using Garmin Navigation software with your Verizon 9650 Bold? I tried to start the trial and the site says Garmin is not compatible with Verizon. How are you using Garmin software? Any work around or just doing it till verizon sees it and kills it?

The Garmin website disclaimer re Verizon out of date. Garmin Mobile was not compatible with older Verizon devices where Verizon blocked third-party access to the GPS receiver. Garmin Mobile works fine on the 9630 and 9650. You don't need a work around or have to fear Verizon stopping your use.
