For those that are new to BB and their Curve like me, getting used to the new phone is fun in itself. But I know many dont know where to start when it comes to buying accessories. What are the first 3 accessories one should buy after getting the phone?
So far I have
1. The Case
2. ????
3. ????
I was thinking bluetooth headset and desktop crade?
I'm a bb newbie 2...y would I need a SD card?...I'm also thinking about getting a screen protector so I think that can also be a good accessory to have...silicon skin a must...I'm a dropper and that baby protects really well

The memory on the phone is a tad small when you start adding programs. A SD card will allow you to store pics, music, vids...etc without a problem or slowing down the perfomance of the phone.
1. Charging cradle
2. Best Skins Ever
3. Biggest microSDHC card that will fit with your OS.
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 Up to 2GB microSD
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 Up to 4GB microSDHC
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 Up to 4GB microSDHC
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 Up to 8GB microSDHC
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0 Up to 8GB microSDHC
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.6.0 Up to 32GB microSDHC - rumored for the Bold et al
* Verizon 4.2.2.196 OS supports up to 8GB source JeffH - thanks
Others are a case, but be careful I was on a walk the other day and looked down and my case was gone from my belt. A bluetooth is a must have as well because of voice recognition that BB's have.
About your question if you have a case you should still have a skin, buy the 8800 belt case for it and you can keep your skin on it while its in the case. Happy Hunting.
Yeah you will have to upgrade your case to the 8800 to have a comfortable fit.
TMobile also sells a full hardcase for the phone for only 10 dollars if you are a big dropper of your phone. Clear, Blue, and pink are the colors they come in.

That's where I got mine. Much less than on the Speck website.
And it is the same case. Just keep in mind it has no sleeper magnet.
1. Micro SD Card (everyone agrees)
2. Bluetooth Headset (your preference)
3. Case - The best Curve cases are from Rocketfish (Best Buy Company) 2 cases for $15 and they wrap the curve better than the ones Blackberry Sells and cheaper. Only White and Black. See link

I got the red Curve, not sure if I want a skin covering it. Got a lot of compliments on it so far. Even the guy at the store was digging it. But I need to find something to protect.

Yeah I was going to get one because they make your BB dang near impossible to scratch, I just wish they had more colors for one, and that the color of the case didn't cover the screen, such as keep the screen clear so you aren't looking through a colored screen protector.
