Hmmm.... does this mean I should buy this thing!? Does this mean the HTC Thunderbolt will be coming at the same time? does this mean anything for or about RIM?!

I thought they were going to let the iPhone have it's own release date - which is the 10th?

it was mentioned that they wanted to have a side by side comparison to see how sales manage. Remember this is the first LTE phone also. Dont know for sure though, just speculation being thrown around on other forums but the date is looking legit

$700 is a bit too steep if you ask me, but I imagine they are going to try and tie it to a contract as usual to bring down the price.

I wouldn't pay anything above $350 for the tablet made by that ****ty brand and the quality of their products simply suck.

are you just upset that everybody with an expiring BB contract on Verizon is trading "up" to Droid? no need to be.

too funny, it's strange but for some odd reason I also hold the belief no Android powered phone should retail over $300.

Too expensive. No WiFi version from what I can see. Not making contracts with two carriers just for a tablet... Sorry Big Red...

I wouldn't buy an overpriced tablet, it's just as bad as $ony selling netbooks with the same specs as every other netbook for $800-$1200 a piece. Even those pocket 'notebooks' contain atom processors. Bios says otherwise, but CPUIZ (or CPUID or whatever that program's called) never lies. Says Intel Atom N470. Sure as **** isn't worth it.

Not necessarily. I have several friends wanting the Playbook. I doubt the Xoom will sell well in the UK.
