I setup password lock and it works fine but I dont want it on all the time, like when Im home. Now I cant turn it off!! I go to Security, and I'm unable to uncheck the Enabled box. Also, theres a little lock icon next to it. Anyone know how to disable it? All I can find out is it may be an IT issue. I'm on BIS, not BES. Sprint Blackberry tech support is closed at this hour,,,so any help would be appreciated!!

    Thanks~JB

Did you purchase the device used? Was it previously on a BES? If so, you need to remove the IT Policy.

I got it!! This worked (for anyone having same issue).

Go to: Options/Device/Storage>>Uncheck Media Card Support.
    Save.
    Exit back to Options.
    Go to Security/Password.
The tab should now be selectable to disable the password.
    Click disable.
    Save.
    Exit back to Options/Device/Storage.
    Click on .
Select Media Card Support back to "On".
    Save.
You will now be prompted to enter the password for the final time.

    Works perfectly!!

If the previously mentioned options fail to remove the device password after a Security Wipe, the device will need to be backed up and factory reset. For instructions on performing a factory reset please refer to the following BlackBerry Knowledge Base article:
