    like the 8900 is for tmobile but the 8910 is for a diffrent carrier but same phone?
    is that how it works and if so then what number is the 8900 curve on for att

    To the best of my knowledge:

    xx00 = GSM devices
    xx10 = GSM, with GPS
    xx20 =GSM with WiFi
    xx30 = CDMA devices

    I'm not to sure about the xx50 devices.

    I thought the xx50 designation was for CDMA with GPS with xx70 was CDMA with WiFi.

    xx00 is the beginning designation for GSM devices.

    Yeah, now that I think about it those designations are at least pre-9800 but they are a good baseline for reference
