I have a blackberry 8900 and at first my screen's ink had leaked for no reason. so I had the screen replaced when I had my phone back from the shop when i turned it on and left it for about 5 mins the screen went blank white. so i took it back to the shop and they updated the software and put me anoth new screen in. Now i have my back it is working better than it did before but when i let the backlight go off or put my phone on lock it goes back to the white screen.

can anyone help i have tried updating it myself and restoring but nothing is working

So is the screen permanently white or does it occasionally show images?

it will show da images. try to wipe the os and install the latest one. if it still happen, it means there is a problem with your lcd. anyway, what is your os firmware?

my suggestion is you should go back to the shop and let them fix it again.
