Earlier this month tmonews posted an article about some information that had come to them regarding an October 1 launch date for nationwide 3G. We wrote it with a grain of salt but we definitely had high hopes for this to be true. This poster, taped (poorly we might add) on the wall outside a meeting is our glass slipper, our unwavering proof of a date that will live in T-mobile infamy. Mark your calenders folks, october 1. Wake up, walk outside and breathe that 3G air. Well only if you live in one of the launch cities, so sorry T-mobile fans in Omaha, Des Moines and Providence. Well be thinking of you while enjoying improved voice quality and high speed data access. Now, where is that pesky Android phone?

If I get a Curve now from T-Mo, it should have 3G capabilities? This would be from Costco.
I recently signed up for at&t but am unhappy with their coverage and quality, I still have a couple of weeks to terminate contract, so it's either go back to VZW or go to T-Mo.
I am in N.E. Los Angeles area...friends who have T-Mo consistently have better coverage than I do, throughout the entire Metro L.A. area.
Charge more for the service. AT&T charges more than T-Mobile and they have 3G. Verizon charges more than T-Mobile as well since their data speeds are faster. I hope T-Mobile doesn't raise their service prices.
Can they do an OS update or OTA update to make 3G work on the Curve? lol

Great news, but still disappointing. Unless you wanna ditch the Berry for one of maybe 4-5 phones Tmo has that will support their 3g network (I don't even think any are smart phones).
I went to TMO store today to get a sunset curve and FINALLY get rid of my 7105t! I have been so much 3g blabber here and elsewhere I almost gave up and got a new curve. Thankfully they did not have my upgrade in the system so I needed to call TMO to get it. Th eguy in the store, said...quietly....wait, don't get it, 3 g is basically here and this is a waste of money, just wait.....so guess what? I am waiting!
Probably going to take forever to come to evansville IN. ATT just got it like june 30th. I have both carriers, ATT one is a work phone but it doesn't work at home/no bars. Wish tmobile would gets its 3G working here and get a decent device for it.
