I'm still on .624 and I get great battery life, usually take it off the charger at about 5a and it will last until 10p, with heavy use from about 4p to 10p. Running Ubertwitter and BeWeather in background.

Not an easy question. Depends on what apps you have running, and where you are. If you are in good coverage, you'll fare better than being in a fringe location.

How can I monitor battery usage and work to improve my current battery life? I'm dead after about 12 hours with medium usage running a few apps in background, but have set them not to refresh every hour - more like every 3 or 6 hours to improve battery life.

I'm on .1030 and I get two days of use on a charge. One full day with heavy usage. It's really quite impressive compared to most other phones.

I just upgraded to a Style (awesome btw) but prior to that with my Sprint Tour I was usually left with 50-60% battery after 18hrs of average use (20 mins of calls, 100 texts, a few emails, 2-3hrs web browsing) I didn't leave any apps in the background, 30-40% screen brightness and I had gps on and bluetooth off. Facebook was the only app installed and it updated every 3hrs. I also have a sleep holster which helps.

The battery on my Tour only lasted for about a year. I got a new one and now it lasts a whole day on one charge and heavy usage.

My first battery was faulty and lost charge quickly. Got it replaced, and now it works great.

My lasted for approximately 15-18 hour per day depending on my usage. Not to bad.

How you get so good battery life I on the same version as you. Unplugged at 6am, ard 2 or 3pm left with 20% only. I do not have any applications running on background, screen brightness set 10%. I normally do like 1 to 2 hours of surfing, few texts and some 1 to 5 mins phone calls. Maybe I have a worn battery? I got myself a portable charger though. So I manage to get though the day but it is kinda irritating to recharge it in the middle of the day! :X

Here are some tips on extending battery life. You already reduced your screen brightness. I employed all these tips and doubled my battery life.
