I understand that I may need to wipe and reload my OS but I have no idea how to do it but in any event my phone won't connect via USB c able to the computer -- this has never happened before. BACKGROUND: AT&T (dn't get me started) shut off my phone for unpaid bill when I have been in a bill-war with them for 2 months. Turned back on no problem but now I can't SMS text, and the phone is all wonky in other ways. How can I reload an OS when I can't get it to connect to the desktop software? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I hope Anna Banana realizes that the BB 101 link given above is about 3 years old so all the references to version #'s are out-of-date but the general sequence of steps is still valid.
Thanks Forum peeps...you guys ALWAYS save my sorry **** from these trying (read: excrutiatingly enraging) times.
I ended up doing a device wipe and then restoring from backup.....at least I do that correctly.
However, the AT&T gal who was helping me initially coughed and hacked in my ear for a whole hour while regaling me with tales of her life in Mississippi. Yeah, it's like 17 degrees here in Milwaukee....glad you're enjoying 70. hahaha
