Will an unlocked 9780 from T-Mobile work on At&t and be fully functional on 3G?? I'm tired of waiting for At&t but am not sure if unlocking a T-Mobile 9780 will work on At&t. Anyone know the answer or had success doing this yet?

It won't be able to use AT&T's 3G.

You can find a wide selection of them already unlocked on eBay. Just remember to get a Bell, Telus or Rogers brand if you want 3G. Once you get it, you'll need the AT&T service books and you're up and running in no time.

Hey! So if you set your e-mail up through your device, and are running 6.0, simply go to 'setup' and click on 'email accounts.' Select Internet Mail Account. Once it's connected, click the menu key and select 'service books' then click on 'send service books.' Hopes this helps. Enjoy the phone!!

Without a Blackberry Data plan it will not send your service books.

Bell is CDMA if I recall properly, and won't work with any sort of a GSM phone.

Bell is GSM now, but 3G only (no 2G network)... so their 9780's will work fine
