You will be able to get the download from Blackberry's website.
And you get a new icon that is a "Video Recorder" so your able to record short videos using the built in camera.

That's the same question I have as I have already updated to 4.5 using some posted links. I know it's not fully supported but I have all the features listed minus the streaming video capabilities. I called a BB rep and said it's blocked and will still be blocked for the Bold which just makes me scratch my head.

OTA video works on the Rogers 9000, even the preproduction models. OS 4.5 should be opened up by them any time now (if it hasnt already) I think you got a rep on the line that didnt know what they were talking about.

Any idea on the exact version of 4.5.0.XX that Rogers will be releasing?

It will probably be .55 or .69. I highly doubt they would wait this long to release anything older.

well streaming isnt' working yet as I just tried it.. but it's good news that it works on the Bold and curve later on. Not the main reason I want a Bold but it's good to have features

I've spoken to 3 different reps at Rogers. Youtube is BLOCKED by them. They recommended me another site, blueapple.mobi. That site isnt blocked, but its slow. And annoying when people email me youtube links taht i cannot open!

I watched some stuff on m.break.com and it's slow as ****... plus the quality is horrid. I hope I can view the full quality videos on the Bold.

I hope it's not .55, because I'm running it right now and while it is amazing in everyway...my volume when ringtones and media cards play is very quiet, even on the loudest setting.

Unless this Rogers .55 version will be solid...

Are you serious? I tried youtube and it didn't work, just said invalid address. I was running Os 4.5.0.55. I'm in the process of loading Os 4.5.0.69 right now, see if anything will happen. I herd from many different users on various forums that rogers block all media streams.

That makes me mad if thats true. The Rogers rep on the phone told me the 6GB plan would get me "14 hours of YouTube video". Wtf is the point if I cant watch them.

Btw, I CAN access m.youtube.com but the videos dont load once media player opens. Upgrading to 4.5.0.69 right now, lets see what happens
